Ryde Bulwark was a small blockhouse built in the 15th century to protect Ryde harbour on the Isle of Wight. The first mention of the bulwark was in 1489, and it was located near to the modern Union Street in the town, close to the shore. It was probably made from timber and earth, supporting a single cannon. It was probably constructed by the Abbey of Wherwell. In 1638, it was probably guarded by a watch of two men. It was last mentioned in 1681, and the site has since been lost.
